The dumb things people ask IT departments?

Next time you call the IT department to fix a problem make sure your question isn't one of the following.
A survey of over 1,400 IT managers has revealed a list of the dumbest questions people have asked them including classics such as "My laptop was run over by a truck. What should I do?"
Another which initially baffled the IT man was "How do I get my computer's coffee-cup holder to come out again?"
These examples show that it takes more than technical expertise to interact with end users ... especially those who confuse CD drives with coffee trays.
A spokesperson for Robert Half Technology who commissioned the research said: "These unusual requests highlight the need for technical support personnel to also demonstrate patience, empathy and a sense of humor."
Dumbest IT questions
1) "How do I get my computer's coffee-cup holder to come out again?"
2) "Why isn't my wireless mouse connected to the computer?"
3) "My laptop was run over by a truck. What should I do?"
4) "Can you rearrange the keyboard alphabetically?"
5) "How do I read my e-mail?"
6) "My computer says to press any key to continue. Where is the 'any' key?"
7) "Can you reset the Internet for me?"
8) "There are animal crackers in my CD-ROM drive."
9) "Can you build me a robot?"

@anon
I know what you mean, I once had someone call and ask me to go up to their office to turn their terminal on.
I asked them if there was a problem with it and they said - no but I have forgotten where the button is and I don't want to ask anyone here as it is a bit embarrasing - I sent an IM to everyone in his department saying - Mr X has forgotten where the power button is on his computer, could someone who is more technical than a fish help him find it.
I'm suprised no-one has asked 'how do you turn my pc on' yet
