50 of the world's most confusing things
Call centres, Twitter, the offside rule and how Russell Brand pulls so many women, have all been named in a list of the things which confuse most Brits.Also up there on the list of the 50 most unfathomable things is why Cheryl Cole is still with husband Ashley, and navigating Birmingham's Spaghetti Junction.
Foreign call centres were said to be the most confusing thing by the 5,000 people polled, followed closely by algebra.
Also making the top 50 was converting currency, languages, filling out insurance forms and setting up wireless networks.
Making sense of survey results was strangely absent.
Men were deemed more confusing than women with almost 17 per cent of people voting for blokes and almost 12 per cent naming ladies as the more confusing sex.
A spokeswoman for Confused.com, who commissioned the study said: "The research shows we spend a lot of time rubbing our brows about all aspects of life from women's fascination with Russell Brand to the puzzling nature of foreign call centres."
