Audrey Hepburn named greatest film beauty
Breakfast at Tiffany's star Audrey Hepburn has been named the greatest film beauty of all time. The Belgian babe topped a poll of over 1,800 film fans who were asked to pick their most enduring screen stunner.
Second in the survey was Tomb Raider action hero Angelina Jolie, the only 'modern' star to make the top five.
Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Sofia Loren came next suggesting fans find legends from the golden age of film more attractive.
Then again maybe it is just that people didn't see photos of them going to buy a pint of milk without any makeup on every week in Heat magazine.
Speaking of the survey - commissioned by Sky+ HD - Nicola Moulton of Vogue, said: "A great cinematic beauty by definition has to look amazing in motion, not just in pictures.
"Audrey Hepburn is clearly a timeless beauty, which explains why she is the nation's choice, though a personal favourite of mine has always been Vivien Leigh.
"She was not only breathtakingly beautiful but had an astonishingly expressive face."
