RAF sends 20000 condoms to recruits
The RAF are to send out 20,000 condoms as part of a new recruitment drive.Mounted on cards with the words “Apply to weapon when on manoeuvres.” the cheeky ad invites men to road-shows where they could learn more about the infantry regiment which defends air bases.
Potential recruits also learn how a non-lubricated condom can be used by troops on operations to carry water, stop bleeding and prevent sand jamming a weapon.
A spokesperson said: “We felt the condom would appeal to the target audience and hopefully encourage them to think about the RAF Regiment in a different way rather than just at face value.”
