ipad shopping trolley In a bid to get more men into the supermarket, a Sainsbury's store in Kensington, London, has fitted iPad docking stations onto their shopping trolleys.

It's said this means blokes don't have to feel disconnected while doing the grocery shop and could even keep up-to-date with the latest scores by streaming football matches.

The high-tech trolley -- which could be rolled out to other stores if successful -- features a tilting iPad holder and speakers mounted to the handle.

Anticipating iPad using shoppers could find themselves distracted the trolley also has a front bumper with a sensor which lets off a warning beep if you get too close to other shoppers.

275x250.jpg Robbers have employed some dubious disguises in the past, but this one is up there with the most bizarre - he wore a dress and donned a pair of white underpants on his head.

Police in Dallas - where the idiot targeted a convenience store - say the man entered the store at 5.30am and demanded cash from out of the till and off customers.

Officers say he was able to get away with the money and are warning that he could have been armed - but hope his unusual attire could lead to an arrest.

Wearing the Y-fronts on his head to hide his face from CCTV cameras, it's not known why he chose to pair them with the black and white floral dress… talk about VPL.

275x250.jpgWhen angler John Goldfinch felt a tug on his fishing line, he thought he'd caught a massive fish… but when his line surfaced, he realised he'd hooked a scuba diver between his legs.

61-year-old John said he couldn't believe his eyes when the diver emerged at the end of his line 50ft offshore at Budleigh Salterton, Devon.

Almost before he realised what had happened. the diver’s girlfriend also appeared from the water, carefully removed the the tackle from his tackle and handed it back to a bewildered John.

The pair reportedly then disappeared underwater to continue their dive, without the safety buoy which they should have been using to signal to other people where they were.

John - who was fishing from the beach with friends - says he's glad the frogman was able to set himself free… because he's not sure he would have fitted in his net.

275x250.jpgAllied forces planned to make Adolf Hitler less aggressive and more like his sister by lacing his food with estrogen, it's been claimed.

Professor Brian Ford, reveals the bizarre plot in his book 'Secret Weapons: Technology, Science And The Race To Win World War II'.

The Cardiff University expert says British spies came up with the sex hormones plan as the Second World War raged on with no end in sight.

It was hoped the estrogen would have a slow and subtle effect and because it's tasteless, unnoticed by the Fuhrer's food testers.

Other odd plans, which could have come straight from a episode of Blackadder, included dropping glue from planes to stick Nazi troops to the ground and disguising bombs as tins of fruit.

275x250.jpg We remember when Emlyn Hughes International Soccer was the best football game your could get, and while we spent way too many hours enjoying its 8-bit glory, it wasn't exactly what you'd call lifelike.

Nowadays however, football games like FIFA 12 feature uber-realistic graphics and even include player details such as Ronaldo's boots, David Beckham's tattoos and Wayne Rooney's hair transplant. Wait, what?

That's right! Designers behind the latest version of the popular EA Sports game say they've had to update the computer likeness of the Manchester United ace to show his new hair do.

Previous versions of the game had shown the receding Rooney hairline, but after he underwent a £10,000 hair transplant they needed to add some more CGI hair to his character.

275x250.jpgEveryone needs a hobby, but maybe not like this. A Swedish man has been arrested after he was caught trying to split atoms in his kitchen… as a hobby.

31-year-old Richard Handl is said to have spent several months trying to build his own nuclear reactor at his apartment and even kept a blog about his exploits.

Unfortunately for Handl, after acquiring the radioactive elements radium, americium and uranium he accidentally created a "small meltdown" on his stove. As you do.

Realising it could have been a lot worse, this prompted him to write to Sweden's Radiation Authority and ask them about the legality of what he'd been doing.

Their reply pretty emphatic… they sent around the police who arrested the would-be nuclear boffin who could now face fines or up to two years in prison.

People have an amazing ability to see faces in objects - as proven by how often Jesus pops up - and we normally try to ignore such instances of pareidolia… but there is so a face in this cloud.

Filmed by Denis Farmer in the Canadian town of Grand Falls in New Brunswick the video shows a dark storm cloud rolling across the sky in an odd formation.

The three minute video has now shot to internet fame and been watched by more than 300,000 people, the majority of who say they can clearly see a face appear.

However, there seems to be some debate about whose face it is with suggestions being that of God, Zeus, the Mummy from the 1999 movie or even Heihachi from the video game Tekken.

275x250.jpg NASA's Jupiter-bound Juno spacecraft will feature an unusual crew when it launches tomorrow… three little 1.5-inch tall LEGO figurines.

In a bid to inspire more children to explore science, minifigs of Galileo Galilei, the Roman god Jupiter and his wife Juno will set off on the mission.

The trio will arrive at Jupiter at some point in 2016 and the mission will investigate the gas giant's origins, structure, atmosphere and magnetosphere.

It's not clear exactly what role the toys will play in the mission… but who cares, it's LEGO in space.

275x250.jpgPolice have told a US man to stop wearing a bunny suit in public as he's beginning to scare children.

That's because William Falkingham is said to have been spotted peeking at kids from behind a tree and then pointing his finger at them like a gun.

According to a police report, the 34-year-old from Idaho Falls has left a number of local residents "greatly disturbed" by his activities.

However, other neighbours insist that he's eccentric but otherwise harmless and just enjoys wearing the suit.

Falkingham is said to also have a cowboy outfit and a ballerina dress which he wears, though police have made no attempt to stop him wearing these. Really.

275x250.jpg An animal charity say they've been bombarded by people offering to give a new home to a kitten which looks like Hitler* -- after previously struggling to find anyone willing to take her in.

Staff at Wood Green animal shelter said people had originally shunned the kitten because of her uncanny resemblance to the Nazi dictator and she'd repeatedly been overlooked for adoption.

However, after the six-week-old kitten - dubbed Kitler but also known as Luminus - appeared in several national newspapers on Friday, they've received hundreds of offers.

*Obviously when we say 'kitten which looks like Hitler' we don't mean you could mistake the two in the street, but rather that it has slightly Hitler-esque markings.
