James Bond prefers brunette Bond girls
Academic researchers have analyzed hours of James Bond movies in a bid to discover what sort of woman the MI6 spy goes for.They found that in 20 movies there were 195 female characters, of which Bond had "sexual contact" with 98.
Comparing the ones he beds to those he doesn't, they say they have identified his type as younger, slim, attractive and brunette.
Professor Kimberly Neuendorf of Cleveland State University said Bond also likes women with an American accent and those who carry a gun.
Shocking isn't it? No not that Bond doesn't like blondes but that this is what passes a academic research at the moment.
The study "Shaken and Stirred: A Content Analysis of Women’s Portrayals in James Bond Films" also found the average age a bond girl was 26.
27 percent of the women Bond was involved with were blondes, compared with 59 percent who had brown or black hair and nine percent redheads.
Of those she said those with dark hair were proportionately much more likely to get intimate with Bond, and hear one of his dodgy one-liners.
