For your rosti potato to be very tasty and with a delicious creamy filling, use the ingredients from the list below and follow the instructions on how to prepare!


  • 4 washed potatoes (I bought 700 grams) And after peeling and grating it was 500 grams)

  • 1/2 liter of water or 2 and 1/2 cups (tea) for cooking the potatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon white or black peppercorns

  • 150 grams of grated mozzarella cheese or 1 cup (tea)

  • 1/4 cup (tea) of creamy cottage cheese or 4 level tablespoons 55 grams

  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) oregano

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 25 ml


  • Peel and grate the potatoes;
  • Put 1/2 liter of water or 2 and 1/2 cups (tea) for cooking the potatoes to boil;
  • Remove the water from the heat and add the grated potato;
  • Mix;
  • Cover and let rest for 5 minutes;
  • Mix and let rest for another 5 minutes;
  • Strain the potato;
  • Squeeze the potato on a paper towel;
  • Transfer the potato to a bowl;
  • Add half a shallow spoon of salt;
  • Add half and half a level spoonful of black pepper;
  • Mix;
  • Add half to the skillet and spread;
  • Add half the cheese;
  • Add 4 tablespoons of curd;
  • Add the other half of the cheese;
  • Add half a teaspoon of oregano;
  • Add remaining potato;
  • Add olive oil around;
  • Take to the fire until golden underneath;
  • Turn to brown the other side;
  • Turn the potato onto a plate;
  • Your potato rosti is ready!
