For your São Paulo couscous to be perfect, see the list of selected ingredients and follow the preparation instructions.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (tea) of olive oil or 50 grams

  • ½ cup (tea) of finely chopped onion or 70 grams

  • ½ tablespoon minced garlic or 8 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) of chopped red bell pepper or 40 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) chopped green pepper or 40 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) of chopped yellow pepper or 40 grams

  • 1 cup (tea) of chopped red tomatoes or 200 grams

  • 2 cans of sardines with oil, remove the bones, 160 grams of sardines and 80 grams of oil from the can

  • ½ cup (tea) of tomato paste or 115 grams

  • 1 sachet of traditional tomato sauce (already bought ready-made) or 340 grams

  • ½ cup (tea) of water or 110 ml or grams

  • 250 ml or 250 grams of heart of palm glass water

  • 1 can of peas with canned corn and water from the can, 230 grams of peas with corn and 80 grams of water from the can

  • 1 cup (tea) chopped heart of palm or 170 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) of chopped canned green olives or 36 grams

  • 4 boiled and chopped eggs or 190 grams

  • ½ tablespoon salt or 8 grams

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper or 1 gram

  • ½ teaspoon of chimichurri or 1 gram

  • 1 teaspoon of hot paprika or 3 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) of finely chopped parsley or 16 grams

  • ¼ cup (tea) of chopped chives or 20 grams

  • 2 and ½ cup (tea) of yellow corn flour (medium flakes) or 250 grams

  • Oil to grease the mold

  • To decorate use – Cherry tomatoes cut in half or tomatoes in slices, parsley, sardines without bones, 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1 heart of palm and green olives

Directions

  • In a large pot, add ¼ cup (tea) of olive oil or 50 grams;
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of chopped onion or 70 grams;
  • Let it fry a little;
  • Add ½ spoon (soup) of crushed garlic or 8 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of minced red pepper or 40 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of minced green pepper or 40 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of chopped yellow pepper or 40 grams;
  • Mix and let cook a little;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) of chopped red tomatoes or 200 grams;
  • Cook well for 5 minutes;
  • Add 2 cans of sardines with oil, remove the bones, 160 grams of sardines and 80 grams of oil from the can;
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of tomato extract or 115 grams;
  • Add 1 sachet of traditional tomato sauce (already bought ready-made) or 340 grams;
  • Add ½ cup (tea) of water or 110 ml or grams;
  • Add 250 ml or 250 grams of water from the heart of palm glass;
  • Mix and boil for 5 minutes;
  • Add 1 can of peas with canned corn and water from the can, 230 grams of peas and corn and 80 grams of water from the can;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) of minced heart of palm or 170 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of chopped preserved green olives or 36 grams;
  • Add 4 hard-boiled and chopped eggs or 190 grams;
  • Mix;
  • Add ½ tablespoon salt or 8 grams;
  • Add ½ teaspoon black pepper or 1 gram;
  • Add ½ teaspoon of chimichurri or 1 gram;
  • Add 1 teaspoon of hot paprika or 3 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of chopped parsley or 16 grams;
  • Add ¼ cup (tea) of chopped chives or 20 grams;
  • Mix;
  • Simmer for 5 minutes;
  • Add 2 and ½ cup (tea) of yellow corn flour (medium flakes) or 250 grams (gradually while mixing);
  • Cook until the point;
  • Unite a shape with oil;
  • Add cherry tomatoes cut in half or tomatoes in slices, parsley, sardines without bones, 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1 heart of palm and green olives (at the bottom and on the sides);
  • Add the couscous;
  • Your couscous from São Paulo is ready!
