Savory Muffin (Cheese, Tomato and Basil)

With irresistible flavor, this savory muffin recipe is perfect for any occasion!


  • 2 eggs

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1 sprig of chopped basil

  • 1 cup wheat flour (tea)

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal (tea)

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of milk

  • Diced cheese to taste


  • In a bowl add the eggs, milk, chopped tomato, chopped basil, oats, wheat flour, butter, salt and yeast. 
    Stir gently.
  • Transfer the batter into buttered silicone or metal cupcake liners. 
    Place cubes of cheese on top of each muffin and dip lightly into the batter.
  • Place the muffins in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake them for approximately 30 to 40 minutes or in the airfryer at 200º₢ for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the savory muffins from the oven, wait for them to cool slightly and they are ready to serve.
