For your German apple pie to be very simple and delicious, use the ingredients listed below and follow the recipe step-by-step.

Ingredients

  • 4 apples, peeled and seeded

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • 120g melted butter

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • Cut 4 peeled and seedless apples;
  • Add 1 tablespoon cinnamon (optional);
  • Mix;
  • Add the apples in a greased shape with butter and sprinkled with cinnamon;
  • In a bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour;
  • Add 1 cup of sugar (reserve 1 tablespoon of sugar);
  • Add 1 tablespoon baking powder;
  • Mix well;
  • Add this mixture over the apples;
  • Add 120g of melted butter;
  • In a bowl, beat 4 eggs;
  • Add 1 tablespoon vanilla extract;
  • Mix;
  • Add in shape;
  • Take to preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes;
  • Add icing sugar on top (optional);
  • Your German Apple Pie is ready!
