Ingredients
4 egg whites
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 cup of whipped cream
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, beat the egg whites until very stiff.
- Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat until the mixture is firm and glossy.
- Add vanilla essence and vinegar and mix well.
- Dispose of the mixture in a large, round shape, forming a circle with the help of a spoon.
- Make a depression in the center of the dough so you can put the whipped cream and fruit later.
- Bake for about 1 hour, until the base is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- When the Pavlova is cold, fill it with whipped cream and sliced fresh strawberries.
- Serve chilled.
