Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 3 eggs 150 grams

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams

  • 1 cup (tea) oil 210 ml

  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour 135 grams

  • 1 cup (tea) fine cornmeal or mimoso 145 grams

  • 1 level tablespoon of baking powder 14 grams

  • 1 cup (tea) of strained orange juice 210 ml

  • Syrup
  • 1/2 cup (tea) orange juice 110 ml

  • 2 tablespoons refined sugar 25 grams

Directions

  • In a bowl, add 3 eggs 150 grams;
  • Beat for 1 minute;
  • Add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) oil 210 ml;
  • Beat for another 1 minute;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) of wheat flour 135 grams;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) fine cornmeal or mimoso 145 grams;
  • Add 1 level spoon (soup) of baking powder 14 grams;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) of strained orange juice 210 ml;
  • Mix and beat for 1 minute;
  • Transfer to a greased and infarcted shape;
  • Take to bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 45 minutes;
  • Syrup
  • In a bowl, add 1/2 cup (tea) of orange juice 110 ml;
  • Add 2 spoons (soup) of refined sugar 25 grams;
  • Mix;
  • Take it to the microwave for 1 minute and a half (until it boils);
  • Add the syrup over the cake;
  • Your cornmeal cake is ready!
