For your shrimp moqueca to be perfect, use the ingredients from the list below and follow the step-by-step preparation instructions.


  • 500g of cleaned pink shrimp

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 onion in slices

  • 2 tomatoes in slices

  • 200 ml of coconut milk

  • 20ml palm oil

  • Chopped coriander

  • 1 red bell pepper in slices

  • 1 green bell pepper in slices

  • 1 yellow bell pepper in slices


  • Season the shrimp with salt, black pepper and a few drops of lemon;
  • In a pan on the fire, add 1 strand of olive oil;
  • Add ground garlic;
  • Add the shrimp and toss for 2 minutes;
  • Remove the shrimp;
  • Add another 1 strand of olive oil to the pan;
  • Add 1 layer of red and green peppers;
  • Add 1 layer of onion and tomato;
  • Add shrimp;
  • Add 1 layer bell pepper;
  • Add 1 layer of onion and tomato;
  • Add coconut milk;
  • Add a little palm oil;
  • Add cilantro;
  • Add salt and black pepper;
  • Tampe and let cook for approximately 20 minutes;
  • Your Shrimp Moqueca is ready!
