Simplicity and flavor improve our daily lives and this recipe with potatoes and pepperoni sausage is proof of that!

Ingredients

  • 600 grams of potatoes

  • 200 grams of calabrese sausage

  • 50 grams of grated parmesan cheese

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil or oil

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 lemon

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika to taste

  • Chives to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cut the peeled potatoes into medium pieces and chop the pepperoni into cubes. 
    Cook the potatoes in salted water until they are al dente (neither too hard nor too soft), for approximately 12 to 15 minutes with the pan covered.
  • Add 4 tablespoons oil or olive oil to a frying pan, put potatoes, black pepper, paprika and salt to taste. 
    Stir very well until the potatoes are golden brown, remove them and set aside.
  • In the same skillet put 2 spoons of oil or olive oil and sauté the onion in strips for 1 minute. 
    Add the minced garlic and saute for another 1 minute, always stirring well.
  • Add the pepperoni sausage in cubes and fry constantly stirring until they start to brown. 
    Add the potatoes to the mixture and mix well.
  • Add the lemon juice and fry for another 1 minute, always stirring very well. 
    Add the grated parmesan cheese and fry a little while stirring.
  • Turn off the heat and finish by adding the chopped chives to taste. 
    Mix well and the recipe with potatoes and pepperoni sausage is ready to be served.
