Ingredients
3 whole eggs
2 cans of green corn
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon chemical baking powder
1/3 cup fine cornmeal (tea)
100 grams of butter or margarine
320 ml of milk
Directions
- Add the drained green corn, the eggs, the milk to the blender and beat for 5 minutes.
- Add the sugar, the fine cornmeal, the butter or margarine, the chemical yeast and beat for another 3 minutes.
- Pour the dough into a greased shape with butter or margarine and fine cornmeal.Â
Place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for about 60 minutes. - Carefully remove from the oven, wait to cool before cutting and the oven tamale is ready.
