1/3 cup cornmeal (tea)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 whole eggs
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
400 grams of green corn (2 cans)
320 ml of milk
50 grams of grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Start by placing the drained green corn, the eggs, the milk in a blender and beat for about 5 minutes.
- Add the sugar, butter or margarine, grated parmesan cheese, cornmeal, baking powder and beat for 2 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 60 minutes.
- Remove the tamale from the oven and wait to cool at room temperature.
