Morgan Creek Capital: Boomers to invest $300 billion in Bitcoin

Morgan Creek Capital CEO Mark Yusko is extremely bullish on the Spot Bitcoin ETFs and expects boomers to increasingly take on exposure to Bitcoin and other digital assets. Yusko is currently betting on an inflow of $300 billion over the next 12 months.

$300 billion in 12 months

“I believe $300 billion is going to flow into Bitcoin. That’s 1 percent of $30 trillion heading to this industry over the next 12 months.

That’s more money than has ever been sent into Bitcoin in the last 15 years and that’s fantastic,” said a very optimistic Mark Yusko.

According to the successful investor, a large part of that capital will come from so-called baby boomers, people born between 1946 and 1964.

The money must come from that generation’s pension pots, which are managed by financial advisors. According to the Investment Adviser Association, financial advisors manage a total of $114.2 trillion in assets.

The $300 billion that Mark Yusko predicts is only 0.26 percent of that total.

Total market cap of $6 trillion

Ultimately, that inflow of $300 billion over the next 12 months should increase the industry’s total market cap to $6 trillion. That would more than double from the current $2.37 trillion.

Yusko does not say exactly what this will do to the Bitcoin price, but we can of course guess. An influx of $300 billion of capital into an asset with a market cap of $1.27 trillion will yield a massive increase.
