Enhance pasta, meats and other recipes with this homemade and special tomato sauce!


  • 1/2 glass of water

  • 1 kg of tomatoes

  • 1 small onion

  • 1 teaspoon (tea) paprika

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 piece of green, red and yellow bell pepper

  • 3 tablespoons of olives

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Spices to taste

  • Olive oil to taste

  • Salt to taste


  • In a blender add the coarsely chopped tomatoes, the chopped peppers, the pitted olives, the water and beat very well until you completely crush all the ingredients.
  • Put a generous drizzle of olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until golden, stirring constantly.
  • Add the mixture from the blender and season with sugar, paprika, a pinch of salt, black pepper and other seasonings to taste. 
    Stir continuously while cooking until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens well.
  • Turn off the heat, wait for the sauce to cool to room temperature before storing it in a container with a lid and your homemade tomato sauce recipe is ready.
