Homemade Garlic Bread for BBQ

The time to eat roast beef is even better with this delicious homemade garlic bread for barbecue!


  • 7 French breads/salt breads

  • 250 grams of mayonnaise

  • 100 grams of mozzarella or other cheese

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine for sautéing the garlic

  • 1 head of small garlic

  • Oregano to taste

  • Salt to taste


  • In a frying pan, place a spoonful of butter or margarine, the chopped head of garlic and sauté over medium heat without stopping stirring until it starts to turn yellow. 
    Book and let cool for 10 minutes.
  • Add in a container to the mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, the already cold fried garlic and mix well. 
    Put the grated cheese, oregano and salt to taste, mix very well and set aside.
  • Make cuts in the buns from top to bottom with a saw knife but do not cut the bottom of them, so that they are fresh to put the stuffing. 
    Spread the garlic cream in the cracks and over the buns.
  • Bake the buns on the grill until they begin to brown or place them side by side on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in an oven heated to 180º₢.
