Ingredients
- Dough
1 egg
1/2 cup (tea) of milk
1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
1 cup wheat flour (tea)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon chemical baking powder
- Topping
200 grams of grated coconut
200 grams of condensed milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Directions
- Start with the dough.Â
Add the egg, sugar and butter or margarine, milk, wheat flour, baking powder and mix very well until homogenized. - Transfer the dough to a small, greased and floured cake tin and set aside.Â
In a separate container, mix the grated coconut, condensed milk and 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine very well. - Distribute the topping ingredients over the dough and bake the cuca for approximately 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
- Remove the coconut cuca from the oven and wait to cool until it’s lukewarm.Â
Unmold by running a knife along the sides of the mold, pour condensed milk on top and the coconut cuca is ready to be served.
