Ingredients

  • Syrup
  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of water 110 ml

  • 1 cup (tea) coconut flakes or grated 80 grams

  • Cake
  • 3 eggs 150 grams

  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil or butter or margarine 100 grams

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams

  • 200 ml of coconut milk

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour 205 grams

  • 1 level tablespoon of baking powder 14 grams

Directions

  • Syrup
  • In a pan over high heat, add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams;
  • Mix, let melt and gold;
  • Add 1/2 cup (tea) of water 110 ml little by little while mixing;
  • Lower the heat and let it boil for 1 minute;
  • Let it cool in the refrigerator;
  • Cake
  • In a bowl, beat 3 eggs 150 grams;
  • Add 1/2 cup (tea) of oil or butter or margarine 100 grams;
  • Beat for 1 minute;
  • Add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar 275 grams;
  • Beat for 1 minute;
  • Add 200 ml of coconut milk;
  • Add 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of wheat flour 205 grams;
  • Add 1 level spoon (soup) of baking powder 14 grams;
  • Mix and beat for another 1 minute;
  • Add the syrup in a greased and floured form;
  • Add 1 cup (tea) of coconut flakes or grated 80 grams;
  • Add the dough;
  • Take to preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 50 minutes;
  • Your coconut cake is ready!
