Ingredients

  • 4 chicken fillets

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth

  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 cup (100g) sliced ​​almonds

Directions

  • Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper and sprinkle with wheat flour.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken fillets until golden brown on both sides.
  • Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, mustard and honey.
  • Mix well and bring to a boil.
  • Add the chicken fillets back to the skillet and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is reduced and thick.
  • While the chicken is cooking, heat the remaining oil in another skillet over medium heat and fry the almonds until golden.
  • Serve the chicken with the sauce and sprinkle the almonds on top. 
    Serve it hot.
