You don’t need to make a mess in the kitchen to guarantee a tasty snack with this fluffy 5-cup cake!


  • 4 eggs

  • 1 glass of oil

  • 1 cup of cornmeal

  • 1 glass of sugar

  • 1 glass of warm milk

  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon chemical yeast


  • Place the warm milk, oil, sugar and eggs in a blender. 
    Beat for 2 minutes and add the cornmeal, wheat flour and beat again until homogenized.
  • Add the baking powder to the mixture and beat for another 10 seconds, just to combine. 
    Transfer the dough to a greased shape.
  • Place the cake in the preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes. 
    Carefully remove from the oven and set aside to cool at room temperature.
  • Run a knife around the sides of the tin, unmold the cake 5 cups onto a platter or plate and it is ready to be cut and served.
