Ingredients
4 eggs
1 glass of oil
1 cup of cornmeal
1 glass of sugar
1 glass of warm milk
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon chemical yeast
Directions
- Place the warm milk, oil, sugar and eggs in a blender.
Beat for 2 minutes and add the cornmeal, wheat flour and beat again until homogenized. - Add the baking powder to the mixture and beat for another 10 seconds, just to combine.
Transfer the dough to a greased shape. - Place the cake in the preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
Carefully remove from the oven and set aside to cool at room temperature. - Run a knife around the sides of the tin, unmold the cake 5 cups onto a platter or plate and it is ready to be cut and served.
