Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 750 grams of cabbage

  • 75 grams of wheat flour (2/3 cup)

  • 2 onions

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 4 to 5 garlic cloves

  • chili pepper to taste

  • black pepper to taste

  • thyme to taste

  • olive oil to taste

  • oil to taste

  • salt to taste

  • Yogurt Sauce
  • 150ml yogurt (2/3 cup)

  • 2 crushed garlic cloves

  • parsley to taste

  • salt to taste

Directions

  • Chop the cabbage and steam it for 10 minutes. 
    Cut the onion into cubes and saute it in a frying pan with a little oil, stirring constantly. 
    Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté well.
  • Combine the stew with the cabbage in a container and place the thyme, wheat flour, salt, black pepper, red pepper, eggs and mix well.
  • Preheat a frying pan with a little oil, shape the dumplings and fry them until golden on both sides. 
    Remove cabbage fritters and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing the yogurt, crushed garlic, chopped parsley, salt to taste and serve with the cabbage balls.
