Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • Egg 3 units

  • Milk 1/3 cup (80 mL)

  • Oil 1/4 cup (60 mL)

  • Lemon Juice ⅓ cup (80 mL)

  • Sugar 1 cup (180g)

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (180g)

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Chemical yeast 2 teaspoons (10g)

  • Cover
  • 1 cup (140g) icing sugar

  • Lemon Juice 1 1/2 tbsp (22 mL)

  • Zest of 1 lemon

Directions

  • Pasta
  • In a blender, add Egg 3 units;
  • Add Milk 1/3 cup (80 mL);
  • Add Oil 1/4 cup (60 mL);
  • Add Lemon Juice ⅓ cup (80 mL);
  • Add Sugar 1 cup (180g);
  • Beat for 3 minutes;
  • On low speed, open the lid and gradually add 1 1/2 cup (180g) all-purpose flour;
  • Turn off the blender;
  • Add zest of 1 lemon;
  • Add Chemical yeast 2 teaspoons (10g);
  • Mix with a spatula;
  • Transfer to a greased and infarcted shape;
  • Take to preheated oven at 200 degrees for approximately 40 minutes;
  • Cover
  • In a bowl, add 1 cup (140g) icing sugar;
  • Add Lemon Juice 1 1/2 Tbsp (22 mL);
  • Mix well;
  • Add frosting over the cake;
  • Add lemon zest;
  • Your lemon cake is ready!
