You will definitely repeat this oven tamale recipe after trying it!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole eggs

  • 2 cans of green corn

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon chemical baking powder

  • 1/3 cup fine cornmeal (tea)

  • 100 grams of butter or margarine

  • 320 ml of milk

Directions

  • Add the drained green corn, the eggs, the milk to the blender and beat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the sugar, the fine cornmeal, the butter or margarine, the chemical yeast and beat for another 3 minutes.
  • Pour the dough into a greased shape with butter or margarine and fine cornmeal. 
    Place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for about 60 minutes.
  • Carefully remove from the oven, wait to cool before cutting and the oven tamale is ready.
