It is made with wheat flour, milk, cream and seasonings, and is known for its creaminess and mild flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour

  • 500 ml of milk

  • 1 can of cream

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a pan, sauté the onion in butter or margarine until transparent.
  • Add the wheat flour and mix well until a homogeneous dough forms.
  • Gradually add the milk, mixing constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cream, salt and black pepper to taste. 
    Mix well and turn off the heat.
  • Ready! 
    Your white sauce with cream is ready to be served.
