Ingredients
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
1 cup (tea) sugar
3 eggs
3 tablespoons margarine
1 and 1/2 cup (tea) milk
1 tablespoon of baking powder
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease and flour a medium cake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the milk and mix until incorporated.
- Lastly, add the wheat flour and yeast, stirring gently until a homogeneous dough forms.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before unmolding.
Notes
- For a fluffier cake, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks and add them gently to the batter.
- You can add other ingredients to the dough, such as chocolate, fruit or nuts.
- For a frosted cake, cover it with icing or melted chocolate.
