To make your Wheat Cake the way you want it, use the ingredients listed below:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 3 tablespoons margarine

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) milk

  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grease and flour a medium cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add the milk and mix until incorporated.
  • Lastly, add the wheat flour and yeast, stirring gently until a homogeneous dough forms.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before unmolding.

Notes

  • For a fluffier cake, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks and add them gently to the batter.
  • You can add other ingredients to the dough, such as chocolate, fruit or nuts.
  • For a frosted cake, cover it with icing or melted chocolate.
