Whales are suddenly buying this cryptocurrency en masse

Whales are the richest investors in the crypto industry and if Santiment data is to be believed, they are all currently jumping on an Ethereum-based altcoin. This concerns Chiliz (CHZ), a Web3 infrastructure project for sports and entertainment.

Chiliz shoots up

The project’s CHZ token is up 5.46% over the past 24 hours and up 14% over the past week. This month there is an increase of 27% on the plates. This makes the project perform almost as well as Ethereum, which has of course risen enormously due to the ETF hype.

Santiment managed to spot that it is mainly whales with at least 10 million CHZ tokens who are purchasing at the moment.

They bought a total of 42.67 million Chiliz over the past 30 days. The project is also currently seeing its highest trading volume in 22 months.

At the time of writing, CHZ is trading at $0.1512. This means an increase of 5.46% on the boards over the past 24 hours and the project has a market cap of $1.344 billion.

Not just bullish on Chiliz

Santiment isn’t just bullish on Chiliz at the moment. Ondo Finance (ONDO), a project focused on Real World Assets (RWAs), is also doing well at the moment.

RWAs are tokens that represent real-world assets. For example, it could be real estate, art, watches, shares and much more.

On February 26, ONDO still had 5,110 wallets with a positive balance. That has increased to 33,225 units through May 26, for an increase of 550% in three months.
