VeChain (VET) has signed a major partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This agreement is a five-year partnership worth $100 million.
What is the UFC?
The UFC, or Ultimate Fighting Championship, is the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. In this competition, fighters from various martial arts disciplines compete against each other in an octagonal cage, the ‘Octagon’. There are fights in multiple weight classes and both men and women can participate.
The UFC is known for its great entertainment value and the charismatic personalities of its fighters. This contributes to both the popularity and commercial successes of the organization.
The collaboration between VeChain and UFC
The partnership with VeChain provides a significant boost to UFC’s revenues. The $100 million deal even surpasses previous sponsorship records. VeChain’s goal is to gain worldwide fame. With a reach of an estimated 900 million television households in approximately 175 countries, VeChain is taking major steps in the right direction with the collaboration. The brand will be prominently featured at UFC events, with branding on cage floors where the fights take place as well as on digital displays.
