The United Nations (UN) has called on the Israeli government to remove impediments to the provision of humanitarian assistance to the population of the Gaza Strip. This Palestinian territory faces a serious hunger crisis, exacerbated by restrictions on access to basic resources.

International reports accuse Israel of using food deprivation as a war tactic, increasing tensions in the region.

According to information released by the news channel Hispan TV, the crisis reached a critical point on the 170th day of clashes, with the number of reported fatalities in Gaza reaching 32,226.

In response to the alarming situation, agencies linked to the UN reiterate the request that Israel cease obstructing the entry of food and medical supplies necessary to mitigate human suffering in Gaza.
