Judge Ángel Hurtado, who investigates the Attorney General in the Supreme Court, has called to declare Isabel Díaz Ayuso’s couple on May 23 as a witness in the proceedings about the filtration of his email with his confession. The magistrate also calls to declare the Civil Guard agents who have prepared the key reports of the case and commission the Central Operating Unit for a report on the information sent by Google and WhatsApp on the mobile attorney general.

The judge explains that he has received a response in the last hours to his request for information to Google and WhatsApp, in his attempt to recover the messages and data that Álvaro García Ortiz deleted from his phone when he already knew that the investigation was open. “In principle, he aims to have obtained the information that was interested,” says the judge without revealing whether these companies have been able to recover the deleted messages.

The State Advocacy, which in this case represents the accused Álvaro García Ortiz and Pilar Rodríguez, has several times that Alberto González Amador appears as a witness to Judge Ángel Hurtado. The objective, as explained in several interventions and writings supported by the Prosecutor’s Office, is to ask for explanations about whether he disseminated some of his emails and even his own written confession, in terms that he has hidden the courts so far.

On the one hand, the defenses intend to clarify whether the businessman authorized Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, head of the cabinet of his partner in the Community of Madrid, to spread an email that prosecutor Julián Salto sent to his lawyer, Carlos Neira. An email that was part of the emails chain exchanged between the two on account of the confession that, a month before, González Amador’s lawyer had sent the prosecutor. To date, the investigating judge has not granted any relevance to this filtration authorized by the businessman of an email from a prosecutor.

The State Advocacy and the Prosecutor’s Office also seek to ask Alberto González Amador if he has been hiding the Courts for not only to send his confession to the prosecutor Julián Salto, but also to a state lawyer with whom he had treatment. To date, the investigating judge had refused but the Supreme Appeals Chamber forced the magistrate to call to declare the businessman as a witness.
