Ingredients
500g sweet potato
1/2 cup (tea) milk
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Directions
- Wash the sweet potatoes and peel them.
- Cut the potatoes into cubes and place them in a pan with enough water to cover them.
- Season with salt and cook over medium heat until the potatoes are soft, about 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and pass them while still hot through a juicer or masher.
- Return the mashed potatoes to the pan and add the milk, butter, nutmeg and salt.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the puree is creamy.
