
Stuffed zucchini is a traditional Brazilian dish that can be made with different fillings, such as ground meat, chicken, vegetables or cheese.

Ingredients
4 medium zucchini
200 g of ground beef
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 chopped tomato
1/2 cup tomato sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Oregano to taste
Directions
- Cut the zucchini in half, lengthwise.
- Using a spoon, remove the zucchini pulp, leaving a border of about 1 cm.
- Reserve the zucchini pulp.
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
- Add the ground beef and sauté until golden.
- Add the chopped tomato, tomato sauce, salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Stuff the zucchini with the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and oregano.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden.
