Strawberry meringue is a light and refreshing dessert, perfect for summer. It is made with layers of whipped cream, strawberries and meringues, which combine perfectly with each other. The sweet flavor of the whipped cream and meringues is balanced by the acidity of the strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 500 g of cream for whipped cream

  • 250 g of meringues

  • 400 g of strawberries

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

Directions

  • Beat the cream with the sugar until it forms a firm whipped cream.
  • Cut the strawberries into pieces.
  • Break the meringues into large pieces.
  • Assemble the meringue: on a platter, place a layer of whipped cream, a layer of strawberries and a layer of meringues. 
    Repeat the layers until you end with whipped cream.
  • Decorate with whole strawberries and broken meringues.
