Simple rice cake is a soft and tasty food, with a light rice flavor. 
The wheat flour helps to give structure to the cupcake, while the eggs and green scent add flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup chopped green chilli

  • Salt to taste

  • Wheat flour for breading

  • Frying oil

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, eggs, green chillies and salt.
  • Add the wheat flour little by little, mixing until it forms a homogeneous dough.
  • Shape the dumplings with your hands and dip them in the wheat flour.
  • Fry the dumplings in hot oil until evenly browned.
  • Drain the dumplings on paper towel and serve.

Notes

  • For a tastier cupcake, add grated cheese, bacon or other ingredients of your choice.
  • If the rice is too dry, add a little milk or water to moisten the dough.
  • To prevent the dumplings from sticking to the pan, heat the oil before starting to fry.
