Let’s make a Simple Pavê using the ingredients below and following the instructions, see:

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1 package of cornstarch biscuits (or champagne biscuits)

  • 1 can of cream (no whey)

  • 1 can of milk (use the condensed milk can as a measure)

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (cornstarch)

  • 1 cup cocoa powder or chocolate powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 100g milk or semisweet chocolate (for decoration)

  • 1 cup of milk to soak the cookies

Directions

  • In a pan, mix the condensed milk, the milk (reserve a little to dissolve the cornstarch) and the chocolate powder (or chocolate milk).
  • Take to medium fire and stir until thickening and forming a cream.
  • Add vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Book and let it cool.
  • Dissolve the cornstarch in the previously reserved milk and lead to low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  • Add to chocolate cream, mix well and let cool again.
  • In a bowl, mix the whey-free milk cream with the chocolate cream, gently, until you get a homogeneous cream.
  • In a mold or refractory, mount the pave alternating layers of chocolate cream and biscuits dipped in milk.
  • Start with a layer of cream and finish with cream.
  • Take to the fridge for at least 2 hours so that the pave is very cold and firm.
  • Before serving, grate the milk or semisweet chocolate over the pave to decorate.
  • Serve the pave simple and delicious!
