Ingredients
500g wheat flour
1 envelope of dry yeast (10g)
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
300ml of warm water
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix the yeast, sugar and 100ml of warm water.
- Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, until the mixture becomes frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour and salt.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast mixture. Add the vegetable oil and the remaining warm water.
- Start mixing the ingredients, gradually incorporating the flour.
- When the dough begins to come together, transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough back in the bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let rest in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
