Ingredients

  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups (tea) of sugar

  • 4 tablespoons of margarine

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of milk

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Grease and flour a 24 cm round cake tin.

    In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks with the margarine and sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • In another bowl, mix the wheat flour with the baking powder.
  • Gradually add the flour to the dough, alternating with the milk.
  • Stir gently until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before unmolding.
