Chicken Stroganoff is a classic and tasty recipe, perfect for a quick and delicious meal. 
Here is a simple recipe for making chicken stroganoff:

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast cut into strips or cubes

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 medium chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 1 can of cream (no whey)

  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sliced ​​mushrooms (optional)

  • Straw potato to accompany

  • Cooked white rice to serve

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, melt butter or heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan, sautéing until the onion is translucent and the garlic releases its aroma.
  • Add the chicken strips or cubes to the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until the chicken is well browned and cooked through.
  • If desired, add sliced ​​champignons to the pan and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Then add the ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the chicken.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the unsweetened cream to the mixture, stirring carefully so that the cream is incorporated into the sauce and does not burn.
  • Let the stroganoff cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally so the flavors blend.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust salt and pepper if necessary.
  • When the sauce is hot and creamy, the chicken stroganoff is ready to serve.
  • Serve the chicken stroganoff over boiled white rice and top it with potato sticks to give it a crunchy texture.
