Ingredients
500 g cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 chopped tomato
1/2 cup (tea) tomato sauce
1/2 cup (tea) peas
1/2 cup corn (tea)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
1 cup of milk (tea)
1/2 cup (tea) of oil
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of baking powder
Salt to taste
Grated cheese to taste
Directions
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in oil until golden.
- Add the tomato, tomato sauce, peas, corn, shredded chicken, salt and pepper.
Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes. - In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, milk, oil, eggs, baking powder and salt.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan.
- Spread the filling over the dough and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake in a preheated medium oven (180ºC) for about 30 minutes, or until the dough is golden.
Notes
- For a creamier filling, add 1/2 cup (tea) of cream cheese or 1/2 cup (tea) of cream cheese.
- You can add other ingredients to the filling, such as olives, hearts of palm, bacon or cheese.
- For a tastier pasta, add 1/2 cup (tea) of grated Parmesan cheese to the pasta.
