Baked rice is made with cooked rice, vegetables, shredded meat or chicken and cheese. It is a tasty and nutritious dish that pleases all palates.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice

  • 1 can of sweet corn

  • 1 can of peas

  • 10 slices of ham (cut into small cubes)

  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Directions

  • In a baking dish, mix the rice, corn, peas and ham.
  • Bake in a medium oven, preheated to 180 degrees Celsius, for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Return to the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

Notes

  • For a more flavorful baked rice, you can add other vegetables, such as carrots, zucchini, or tomatoes.

    You can also add shredded beef or chicken.

    If you want a creamier baked rice, you can add some cream cheese or tomato sauce.
