Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
2 beaten eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
400 grams of cleaned and shelled prawns
Frying oil
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, panko, beaten eggs, salt and pepper.
- Place the shrimp in the flour and panko mixture and toss until they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a pan or fryer until hot.
- Add the breaded shrimp to the oil and fry until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the prawns from the pan with a slotted spoon and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot, with your favorite sauce.
