Ingredients
- 1 can canned sardines, drained and shredded 
- 1 medium chopped onion 
- 2 minced garlic cloves 
- 1/2 cup olive oil 
- 1/2 cup white wine 
- 1/4 cup wheat flour 
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth 
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 
- Salt and pepper to taste 
- 1 pie crust 
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sardines, onion, garlic, olive oil, white wine, wheat flour, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the pie is golden and bubbling.
- Serve hot or cold.
Notes
- You can use any type of canned sardines for this recipe.
- For a spicier pie, add 1/2 teaspoon of hot paprika to the mixture.
- You can also add other ingredients to the pie, such as olives, chopped tomatoes or peppers.
