Ingredients
3 eggs
1/2 cup (tea) of oil
1 cup of milk (tea)
1 cup (tea) sugar
1 cup (tea) chocolate powder
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
1 can of condensed milk
100 g of grated coconut
1 tablespoon of butter
100 g semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 cup (tea) cream
Directions
- In a mixer, beat the eggs, oil and milk for 3 minutes, or until the mixture turns white.
- Add the sugar and chocolate powder and beat for another 5 minutes, or until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Add the wheat flour and mix gently with a spoon.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- In a pan, heat the condensed milk, grated coconut and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the filling thickens.
- Turn off the heat and let cool.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
- Add the cream and mix until smooth.
- Cut the cake in half.
- Spread the filling over the first half of the cake.
- Place the other half of the cake over the filling.
- Cover the cake with chocolate frosting.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving.
