Pork rib

Pork ribs can be served as a main dish or as a side dish. 
It is a great option for barbecues, lunches and special dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg of pork ribs

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 large chopped onion

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Chopped fresh herbs to taste (parsley, chives, oregano, rosemary)

Directions

  • Wash and dry the ribs.
  • In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and sauté until transparent.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for another 1 minute.
  • Add the ribs and season with salt, black pepper and fresh herbs.
  • Saute for a few minutes, until the meat starts to brown.
  • Add lemon juice and 1 cup of water.
  • Cover the pan and let it cook for about 1 hour, or until the meat is tender.
  • Serve with rice, potatoes or salad.
