Plain Pancake Dough

Follow the simple pancake batter step-by-step.
Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat flour 
- 1 teaspoon powdered yeast 
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt 
- 2 big eggs 
- 1 cup of milk 
- 1 tablespoon melted butter 
- 1 teaspoon vanilla 
Directions
- In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth. 
 Don’t hit too much.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add a dash of butter or oil to the skillet.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter into skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the pancakes are browned and cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite sauces and toppings.
Notes
- For fluffier pancakes, sift the flour.
- For thinner pancakes, add more milk.
- For thicker pancakes, add more flour.
- For pancakes with a special flavor, add extra ingredients to the batter, such as chocolate, fruit or spices.
