Ingredients

  • 500g wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 7g dry yeast (or 15g fresh yeast)

  • 300ml of warm water

Directions

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.
  • In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
  • Let it rest for about 5 minutes until it starts to foam.
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the olive oil and yeast mixture.
  • With a spoon or your hands, start mixing the ingredients until the dough begins to form.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and begin kneading with your hands for about 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean tea towel and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  • After the resting time, preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Take the dough out of the bowl and place it on a floured surface.
  • Divide it into smaller pieces depending on the size of pizzas you want to make.
  • Open each piece of dough with a rolling pin until you get the desired shape for your pizza.
  • Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Add your favorite ingredients like tomato sauce, cheese, vegetables, meats, etc.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the ingredients are cooked through.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, cut into slices and enjoy!
