For your pasta with white sauce to be very tasty, use the ingredients below and follow the instructions for preparation.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of pasta (of your choice)

  • 3 tablespoons of butter

  • 2 cups of milk

  • 3 tablespoons wheat flour

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Nutmeg to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

  • In a large pot, boil enough water to cook the pasta.
  • Add salt to taste and cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Run and book.
  • While the pasta is cooking, prepare the white sauce.
  • In another pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • When the butter is melted, add the all-purpose flour to the pan and stir well until it forms a smooth, homogeneous paste known as a roux.
  • Gradually add the milk to the pan, constantly stirring with a fouet or wooden spoon to avoid the formation of lumps.
  • Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  • Make sure the flour is completely cooked to avoid the raw taste.
  • This usually takes about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Season the white sauce with salt, black pepper and nutmeg to taste.
  • The amount of spices can be adjusted according to your personal preferences.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the white sauce in the pan and mix well so that the pasta is completely covered in the sauce.
  • Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, so that the pasta absorbs some of the sauce.
  • If desired, you can finish off the dish by sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta before serving.
  • Serve the pasta with hot white sauce and enjoy!
